Dear Friends,

We have just returned from a lovely holiday in Haarlem, Holland. Everyone on the trip had a great time and all the evaluations were very positive. There were a few new folks who came to SONAS for the first time and really enjoyed themselves.

Gwen Muir, our wonderful Sonas ‘tour guide’ hosted us on trips to Haarlem, Keukenhof, Amsterdam and Alkmaar. We travelled on a plane, bus, tram, train and ferry, getting a great overview of these towns and cities. Thanks, Gwen for your extensive knowledge of the area. The hotel was absolutely superb, and folks said it would be ‘difficult to top” – such was the high standard of the venue, service and food quality.

Each evening, we all gathered for devotions which Elsie led with singing and ‘thought for the day’ and various people prayed. Gwen shared about Corrie Ten Boom and Wilma Nicolson told us about ‘Women with Mission’ in the Free Church. On the last evening, we had various spiritual and comical contributions, which was a real joy.

As I close, just a reminder that there is one place in Bath (in June) and three places on Belfast holidays, flying from Inverness and a regular bus service goes from Inverness bus station to the airport.
