Develop New Friendships
It is our hope and desire that on a Sonas Christian Holiday you will develop new friendships, foster longstanding ones and that your faith will be deepened as we bond over our shared belief rooted in the love of Christ.
On each holiday we will have devotions each morning and evening which will be facilitated by one of the Leaders and can also include members of the group who wish to take part in any way, through prayer and sharing aspects of ministry.
Share your Story
We will also – if the holiday covers a Sunday – seek out an evangelical church to attend their service. If any of the group members are involved in a ministry, you may have the opportunity to share about your work.
Our hope is that you will return home feeling refreshed, invigorated and that you experience a happy sense of fulfilment after participating with such a genuine group of committed Christians.
A Growing List of Destinations
We are currently planning our holidays for 2025 and will provide a range of destinations in the United Kingdom and abroad. We meet up at the venue and instantly have a whole group of friends to interact with and share fellowship.
When on holiday, you can ‘do your own thing’ during the day or you can chum up with others, it’s your holiday. If the holiday is abroad, we would meet the group at the airport.
It is important that you can manage your own luggage and be independent to look after yourself.
A Breath of Fresh Air
As we learn about one another’s traditions and also seek to connect with a local church and have some input to our holiday from their congregation if possible. If the holiday covers a Sunday, we would also seek out an evangelical church to attend their service. If any of the group members are involved in a ministry, you may have the opportunity to share about your work.
