Happy New Year to all our SONAS friends and we trust that this will be a healthy, happy and fulfilling year for us all.

We want to update everyone on our responses since ‘going live’ and delighted to say that we have received over 100 enquiries about SONAS Christian Holidays. Several have joined SCH and to date 67 confirmed holiday bookings. This is all great news, so it is onwards and upwards!

As you know, we are all volunteers who are serving on the Board of SONAS and some of us are still day working, while each member also has various other commitments in their lives, so thank you for your patience when awaiting answers to your queries.

Some folks expressed dismay at the flights being from Inverness to Bath and Belfast. There are many folks from the Highlands interested and this is the reason for these localised flights. However, we are considering the possibility of adding places when the designated numbers are filled. When we book such flights, SONAS pay for them up front, hence the reason for this decision. Also to say that the York holiday has been cancelled due to low uptake on places.

As we traverse this new journey of providing online holidays, hopefully all the glitches are now ironed out. We have an online payment system, or you can do a bank transfer to pay. However, could we please remind you that when you do a website payment – it is important that you have your name as ‘the reference’ – otherwise we do not know who has paid money into the account.

As previously mentioned, we plan to have a ‘Fellowship Day’ at the National Christian Outreach Centre, Riggs Road, Perth, PH1 1PR - which will include our AGM, lunch, some hymn singing and other items such as poetry and a short inspirational message. We really want to maximise participation for those who want to take part. Please save the date:

Saturday 22nd March 2025 11am till around 2.30pm and the cost will be £18 per head.
